  Wow!!!!!! Just finished reading Down & Dirty. I’m so sorry you guys went through all of that. But Janelle said the statement that I live by, “Everything happens for a reason.” You did an excellent job with this book.

  I began reading and I could not put it down until I finished it. I was so taken back with the love and determination of the parents for their daughter and their grandchild to be safe in such a dangerous and violent atmosphere....  This book should be in every center for unwed mothers and agency’s for battered women in the world to let them know that there is hope, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that God will give you the strength to persevere and endure.
